De Jongh Estate is one of the emblematic buildings of the district, built in 1877 by the oldest known Protestant British Levantines of Buca. De Jongh Mansion, located on Kasaplar Square, currently serves as a Social Security Center (SSI) on its spacious land with lush trees in which it is located.
De Jongh Mansion, located on Buca Kasaplar Square, has a difference from Buca mansions in that it is more like a summer mansion. After the first owner of the mansion, the De Jongh Family; Italian businessman Fratelli Sperco and another businessman from Buca, Dr. Aliberti became the hosts of De Jongh Mansion.
The Dutch-born British De Jongh Family settled in Buca; In addition to being one of the oldest families in Buca, it is also remembered for its rich cultural and social lives. Although it is not certain, it is accepted by experts that De Jongh Mansion was built in 1877. De Jongh Mansion, was built on a rectangular architectural structure made of cut stone, rubble stone and brick, consists of 2 floors and a completely wooden roof, excluding the basement.
The first Tennis Club established in Turkey was established by the De Jongh Family in the De Jongh Mansion as the Beautiful Weather Club. The De Jongh Family, known for their colorful and rich social life, brought some of the first tennis courts in Turkey, rarely seen plants and trees, a peacock brought from England and a zoo and golf courses created from various rare animals to Buca with some of the first ones during their stay at the mansion. So much so that it is also described in different sources that the first zoo in Izmir was established in the Jongh Mansion.
After their children were kidnapped by gangs by the First World War, the family hid in the basement of the De Jongh Mansion for a while, then sold the house and left Turkey. The land of De Jongh Mansion, is currently owned by the Ministry of Health, is used as a Social Security Center (SSI), where many areas such as tennis courts, a zoo have not reached our days.

In order to visit De Jongh Mansion, which currently serves as the SGK service building today, you need to have a transaction at the Social Security Center and request an appointment from the authorities to visit the main building. The entrances to the garden of De Jongh Mansion, is open during working hours on weekdays, are completely open to the public.
